London Bridge Station rebuild - all platforms re-opened

The Greenwich line train services now stop at London Bridge once again - the Thameslink project rebuild having been completed in time for the reopening on 2nd January 2018 on time and on budget.

Greenwich line passengers can once again embark and disembark at London Bridge as well as reach Waterloo East and Charing Cross - by changing platforms. Access to all levels - platforms, shops, ticket hall and information - can be made by escalator and lift.

The new station itself is transformed - creating cathedral like spaces and concourses, imaginatively designed and realised and even maintaining some of the original arches and the St Thomas Street facade.

Greenwich Society and GLUG representatives enjoyed a tour of the station on its opening day
