Coming to Trinity Buoy Wharf

Fourth Monkey Theatre Company is pleased to announce its return to London’s Trinity Buoy Wharf for the second year from 9th April to 3rd May 2014, when its Year of the Monkeystudents will perform three site-specific productions in repertory:

The Good Person of Szechwan, by Bertolt Brecht – The story of a young prostitute who struggles to lead a ‘good’ life in a society where goodness is not rewarded. Directed by Steve Tiller who broughtThe Vagina Monologues to the UK.

Our Country’s Good, by Timberlake Wertenbaker– A group of Royal Marines and convicts in a penal colony in New South Wales explore the redemptive power of theatre through a production of The Recruiting Officer. .

Yerma, by Fredrico Garcia Lorca – A woman’s overwhelming longing for a child drives her to desperate action, resulting in tragedy. Directed byCat Robey, Production Director of Paradigm Theatre Company, who was nominated Best Director for Ondine at the White Bear by the Off West End Awards 2012/13

Clipper House

Workspace will be available in this new building from June 2014.

Recycled from the former Olympic Broadcasting Studios, Clipper House will provide new spaces from 240 sq.ft. to 3,300 sq.ft - all with stunning views of the river Thames and O2 Arena.
